Metz 26 AF-2Metz 26 AF-2: Made In Germany – by tradition and conviction.

Markham, ON, March 10, 2016:

Metz was recently purchased by the Daum group in Germany and is now a new company – Metz-Mecatech. One of the key decisions made by the new Metz-Mecatech was to return production of all flashes to Germany. As such, the Metz 26 AF-1, made in China, has been discontinued and is replaced by the Made in Germany Metz 26 AF-2. Metz is also canceling all Samsung flashes, due to Samsung withdrawing from the camera market.

The New Flash Satisfaction

Small enough to fit in a shirt pocket, the new Metz 26AF-2 Digital boasts a comprehensive feature set. A Guide Number of 26 (ISO100, 85mm) provides substantially more light than built-in flashes and is fully TTL compatible with Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Sony, Pentax and FujiFilm. Also features an integrated 2-level LED Video Light with output up to 30 Lux. Simple and intuitive to use, the Metz 26 AF-2 has four buttons: power, TTL, Slave and LED, with easy-to-read LED lights to show which mode the photographer is using. The Metz 26 AF-2 also features a swivelling reflector for bounce flash, integrated wide-angle diffuser and attachable tele diffuser (included).
